Explore the pristine and spectacular Son Doong cave
Hang Son Doong cave is located in the National Park Phong Nha - Ke Bang (Bo Trach, Quang Binh) and is a part of the underground system connecting with over 150 other caves in Vietnam. With a width of 200 m, a height of more than 150 m, a length of 8.5 km, this is the largest natural cave in the world. According to Conde Nast Traveler, Son Doong cave could hold an entire city block of Manhattan, including 40-story skyscrapers. It has its own lush vegetation where sunlight filters in from sinkholes above, and clouds even form near the ceiling when moisture condenses there.
