Koh Chang is well known recently as one of Thailand's most beautiful islands. In every year, the best time to come to this island is from April to November. This period of time goes together with the highest temperature but it is neither so hot, humid nor rainy, which is perfect for beach time.

How to get there
You can catch the flight from Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi Airport to travel to Trat Province. The airport will offer three direct flights with Bangkok Airways, starting at 08:30, 11:40 and 17:05. Price range for a round-trip fluctuates from 3,200 Baht to 3,800 Baht. And the shuttle bus from Trat Province airport to Koh Chang resort usually costs 900BTH for a round-trip.
If you choose to choose the form of authentic Thai transport - minibus, you can start at Ekkamai bus terminal in Bangkok.
Here, you should take the bus number 999 run by the government ‘Transport Co. Ltd’, departing at 07:45 and 09:45 which will drop you off at one of the ferry piers around 13:30 and at Centrepoint around 15:30. To get experience with the bus, you have to pay around 600 – 750 Baht.
For the 2 ferries to Koh Chang, which are the 'Ferry Koh Chang' and the 'Centrepoint Ferry', will cost you 80 Baht for one turn only.

In Koh Chang, there are plenty of activities for tourists, such as visiting the waterfalls, bathing and playing scuba diving.
70% of Koh Chang is a tropical forest jungle, plus hilly terrain with steep hills and cliffs complex, ... all have formed many wonderful waterfalls such as Klong Plu and Tanmayon, ...
Klong Plu Waterfall is a beautiful and pure, flowing from the high peaks of the island. In the rainy season, visitors can swim under the waterfalls, in an emerald green lake, which is hard to find somewhere else.

Koh Chang is divided into 5 different areas include Lonely Beach, Kai Bae Beach, Klong Prao Beach, White Sand Beach, some other regions. Bars clubs and other activities are taken places in all of 4 beaches areas although new White Sand Beach is a true home to beautiful beaches.
