This library hotel is located on the 7th floor of a high-rise building in the area of Ikebukuro, Tokyo, just a minute walk from Ikebukuro Station. The modern accommodation bookshop offers no comfortable mattresses and fluffy pillows as in a five-star hotel. But there is the sofa with several large pillows and just right behind the wooden bookshelf, there are 30 small cozy rooms are waiting for those sleepy readers.
The hotel offers 2 types of room sizes, 205x85 cm Compact room, and 205x129cm Standard room, making up 30 beds with shared toilet and bathroom. You can just enjoy reading a book, drinking coffee and tea while watching a part of the city from on high.
Small room for guests to rest and reading
The bookshelf has about 1700 books, chosen by the publisher and distributor of Shibuya. The books here are quite diverse, ranging from the publication in English to the Japanese books. The owner of the hotel "Book and Bed" is R-store, a real estate company, hoping that the size of the library will be increased to 3,000 books. The books here are not for sale.

For those who do not wish to sleep through the night, the price of a session from 1pm to 5pm is around ¥1,500. However, bedroom and shower are not available. This price range from ¥3,500 to ¥4,500 for the whole night accommodations.
