Po Nagar Complex is situated in Vinh Phuoc Ward, 2 km far from the downtown of Nha Trang to the North. The Complex is on a small hill, the biggest temple is dedicated to Yan Po Nagar. It is about 23 m of height.
Po Nagar Complex is a wonderful ancient construction of the Cham. Visiting the Complex, tourists will be impressed by octagonal columns, statues of gods carved on the top of the temples. Now, the Complex is a cultural historic site as well as a famous attraction of Nha Trang City.

3. Trying tasty food of Nha Trang

Coming to Nha Trang City, you will have chance to try a lot of tasty food that contribute to the richness of Vietnamese food.
There is a dish that you can find easily at street food shop and in market. It is fish cake noodle soup. The dish consists of rice vermicelli, soup and fish cake made from well kneaded fish by frying or steaming. The dish can have jellyfish and is call “jellyfish and fish cake noodle soup” in some sites.
Another dish you should try once is grilled pork patties (Nem Nuong). Nem Nuong is make from well kneaded, seasoned pork covered on a small bamboo stick and grilled. Nem Nuong is served as long and thin slices dipped into sauce or wrapped by rice paper with fresh vegetable and sauce.
You can find this dish at shops on streets such as Le Loi, Nguyen Thi Minh Khai, Hoang Van Thu, Le Thanh Phuong, Lan Ong, Phan Boi Chau, etc.

Hon Mun Island is about 10 km far from the downtown of Nha Trang to the Southeast. This is a nice attraction with the pure water and stunning coral ecosystem. Tourists can not only go diving to the depth under 18 m but also contemplate mysterious caves. World Wild Fund for Nature has considered the Island as an area with the most biodiversity in Vietnam.
Another beautiful island of Nha Trang City is Hon Tam Island 7 m far from the City to the Southeast. Hon Tam Island is famous for many nice beaches for sea bathing and sun bathing, and other activities such as rowing basket boat, kayaking, playing tennis, golfing, sea walking, etc.

6. Visiting Institute of Oceanography, Nha Trang City

The Institute of Oceanography is considered as a the largest institute storing and researching marine issues in the Southeast Asia.
Oceanographic Museum, located in the campus of the Institute, is keeping more than 20,000 specimens of more than 4,000 species, among which is a giant whale skeleton with the length of about 2 m and the height of 3 m.
