1. Wild landscape

To head for the Island, visitors have to buy boat tickets at Ha Tien station. It takes more than an hour to reach there.

It’s not an hour-wasting time yet an exciting experience when you can enjoy the fresh breath of sea breeze while checking out the freely swimming fish.

It seems that the Island is made of green. This is also the first impression of visitors who come to the island. The green boundless sea reflects the sunlight. The green of trees appears to cover the whole island.

The floating raft is also houses of local people.

2. Peaceful nature

The Pirate Island would be an excellent choice for those who desire to take a rest after all hard work at schools or workplaces.

The green of trees, flowers in season, and paths curving around the island make visitors can’t help strolling to explore the island.

Because of a number of rocks and stones along with shells of sea snails and oysters, it is advisable for tourists to wear sandals when wandering along the beach.

3. Hospitable and friendly local people

Arriving at the Island, visitors will receive warm welcome from friendly local people and some piece of advice about transportation and accommodation. Since there are no hotels in the island, tourists can ask these hospitable local people for staying at their house.

The local people are even hospitable enough to invite you savor the specialties of the region.

Budget for the trip will not be a concern for visitors. Instead of staying at pricey hotels, tourists can ask for staying at local people or hire low price rooms for rent which is about 40,000 VND per person.

Seafood is harvested directly on the boats or ships right in the island. Therefore, it is so fresh yet affordable! Activities and entertainments are mainly self-exploring so do not worry about extra expenses.

5. Crab catching and squid fishing

Another pleasure is catching crabs at rock reefs under instructions of local people.

For those who love exploring, you can ask for go fishing squids at night with fishermen. A little money may be spent as the fee for the trip or as incentive to these fishermen there.

With the seafood you have caught, you can cook it by yourself right at the beach or local people will prepare it for you.
